Friendly staff
For 2 nights and 3 breakfasts it has been so refreshing having friendly staff greet you with smiles through their masks and attend to all needs when required. Food is really good, would highly recommend.
Amazing food even on a limited menu. Lovely staff who are very friendly even with all the new social distancing guidance. Highly recommend! Good portion sizes and really good value especially on the mon-wed Eat Out to Help Out 50% off government scheme!
We have dined regularly at the Wakefield Arms in the past and were disappointed when we went there shortly after it reopened in August. However, we tried it again this week and were very pleased with what we found. The food was excellent – we both had fish and chips – and the service was excellent as always. In August we were disappointed with the environment but found the place was clean and tidy, the windows had been cleaned and the paintwork had been finished. We will certainly dine there again.
I have never been treated so rudely in a well established corporation, the waitresses were very pleasant and the food was okay, however the manager has got one on him! He was incredibly rude and swore at one of our party! A poor show for someone who I assume has some experience in restaurant etiquette, a rude way to handle paying customers!. I’m still stunned to my core several hours later
