Beautiful location overlooking the river, we saw a family of Otters in there!
The rooms are clean and spacious, Full English Breakfast was delicious, more than I could eat!!
The restaurant has lovely views out onto the river.

Good views..from room..great staff..nice food..could do with a bit of tlc...dogs.kids..door slamming!! So if u like peace and q!! Nope..

Hotel staff excellent on reception but let down by incredibly noisy room with single glazing (not acceptable and had 4 hours sleep! )and by far the worst breakfast I've had in a long time. If your chef can't cook scrambled eggs (mine were grey and salt ridden), you need a new chef. Embarrassing.
The first problem we encountered was the smell of sewage in the bathroom. Having reported this twice we now have been told that maintenance can't find a problem and we have been offered an air freshener!! I would suggest that whoever thinks that there isn't a problem has no sense of smell or basic understanding of plumbing. The health issues with such unsanitary conditions don't seem to be understood.
The room itself is clean enough apart from the dirty socks of a previous guest left on the bedroom floor. The two TVs in the suit only pick up signal intermittently.
The breakfast is appalling and putting cheap instant coffee in a cafetiere doesn't make it taste better.
The plus points are friendly staff and being able to use the swinging pool.
Very comfortable and good social distancing protocols being observed. Great breakfast. Polite, helpful staff
