just got back from a very relaxing stay in a lovely lodge. very high standard. very clean and tidy. everything we needed for getaway break. certainly will go back. very friendly place. resturant and pub on site. friendly relaxing atmosphere. menu good choices of food.3 of us had steaks really nice with chunky chips . 1 had chicken with mash . very good. staff helpful and friendly.good service.looking forward to going back there again.

The lodge was lovely with the hot tub . But I wouldn't return. You are not allowed to make noise after about 10pm. Good for older people and families with young children though. It is very out in the sticks so there is nowhere to walk to. Staff friendly and helpful

Had a wonderful holiday at the Lakesway holiday park on the 10th of May 2019. The lodge we stayed in was excellent, very clean comfortable and spacious, no problem at all with the accommodation. We picked this site as it was reasonably close to lake windermere, but also close enough to the market town of Kendal. There is a pub/restaurant on site selling a variety of well cooked tasty food or if you wish just to go and have an evening drink. The staff and reception people were very helpful in anything we needed to know, the site itself was at the time we were there not overcrowded or noisy, our type of holiday so that made it very pleasant. We booked a lodge with a hot tub which was tested every day, we found this set at 40 degrees which was a bit too hot so had to leave the top off for it to cool, this could really have been set lower that was the only problem we found. If you do intend to visit you need to take some shopping with you as there is not a shop on site but there is one five minutes drive away. We dropped very lucky with the weather not a drop of rain all week so that was a bonus. Would I visit again, most certainly.
