Stunning location and the yurts are beautiful. The site is extremely peaceful with fantastic facilities and a lovely wood fired hot tub! Social distancing was contantly at the forefront of campers minds during our stay because of handy guidance from the owners. We felt safe and secure while still managing to have an unforgettable holiday. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Really lovely camp that allows fire. Would be great if they defined the plots but really relaxed and nice folk

We booked two yurts as a group of friends looking to do a few wainwrights over the weekend. The campsite is small with camping pitches and yurts. The yurts were well equipped and clean, although it took us some time to work out how to get into them as reception wasn't open and we were given no instructions. The facilities onsite are good, but there are extra charges for plug sockets in the toilets. Sadly, our stay was ruined by over zealous owners/managers who clearly hadnt wanted a group there (i have no idea why they allow group bookings, they should never have taken our booking or cancelled it once they realised). We received a final warning for noise on the first night at 9.30, this was despite there being no warnings prior and the camspite policy being no noise after 10.30 (we were all in bed by 10pm that night). We were just having a few drinks and listening to background music. We were talking and laughing, but not obnoxiously. On the third night we received our final warning at 7pm. There were many other tents with music, talking and laughter who were not targetted by the site. It was quite clear from the off they did not want groups there and made us feel very unwelcome. They were more than happy to take our money though. The campsite have since kept our deposit for noise (we didnt break the noise policy), swearing (this wasnt raised as an issue) and being confrontational when we most certainly werent. In fact we were very patient given that they were making up the noise rules as the weekend progressed. This campsite is perfect for couples and families, however, groups avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being robbed of your hard earned cash and enjoyable weekend by the fun police.
