Good food & menu. Very caring, helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Pie night is the one!!! Delicious pies with a generous helping of gravy. Lovely landlady provided a great service as well.
We went on Tuesday and the service and food was excellent. They asked for our track and trace details, Hand sanitiser was available and the staff had face coverings. I wasn’t impressed that the next table had a dog with them, I don’t mine dogs in pubs but I don’t think they should be in the dining area.
We went back on Friday, the staff member doing the table service did not have a face covering. There were plenty of staff so she didn’t need to be doing the table service.
Again dogs in he dining room.
The chips are served in a metal container so you don’t get many.
Good meal,bangers and mash, vegetarian pie and mash,lemon tart and cream,chocolate fudge cake and cream.First time we have eaten there since new management,would highly recommend the pub.
Steak and ale pie was incredible. Really great service and overall experience.
