Great atmosphere inside with candles and open fire. Friendly service. Food was delicious and great value. Huge portions, beautifully presented. The chunky chips were to die for - crispy on the outside and soft inside. Pie of the day highly recommended - with lovely light pastry. Fish and chips great too with fresh, crisply battered fish. Just great pub food served as it should be.

Fantastic pub with wonderful staff serving great food. Lots of consideration put into dealing with Covid procedures, making you feel safe. We are staying locally and have been twice so far. Both times the food was fantastic but today's Sunday Roast was exceptional. The village, the Sycamore Inn resides in, is beautiful too so what's not to love?

We came across pub while on a walk this Sunday 27 September. Lovely sunny day stopped to have a drink & snack outside. We were advised someone would be out to take order. Eventually after asking again a girl came out to us. Took order after waiting an eternity we.asked again another girl came out we explained we had been waiting over 30 minutes for drinks. She went back into find them then returned only to say she needed to take order again. Disappointed by this we left exhausted by the poor service. Other customers outside were experiencing similar service. Shame nice looking pub. It was busy inside with Sunday lunches but plenty of staff. Worst experience ever hence my review.

Great pub serving fantastic food. Pleasant atmosphere and lovely staff. Will definitely visit again in the future. A well run public house.

An all round fantastic place to visit. The staff were lovely, the place itself is gorgeously located and a lovely cute indoors. Would highly recommend if you are in the area and also would highly recommend the Hunters Chicken as that was absolutely fantastic. 5 stars all round from me!
