Most Post Offices I visit are excellent, sadly this one not really close to being excellent. Visited after a long day at work to post two parcels, they had closed 5 minutes previously (fair enough) but instead of a 'sorry we're closed', I got, 'we're open at 8am' in a tone that wasn't aimed at being helpful. Not much use if you have to be at work before 8am. Will head for a smaller branch where they always seem to value customers better.
Do you like being looked down at? Do you enjoy being spoken to in a condescending manner? Do you enjoy queues halfway to the door, several staff on duty and only one person serving? Do you adore being overcharged on postage? Then come on down. You'll love this place. If I absolutely have to use the post office, I'll drive 5 miles to the nearest one rather than suffer the walking attitude problems at Belper. It's no wonder that online courier services are doing such a roaring trade.

Generally nice and friendly service. Went to pickup a couple of parcels from online retailers before Christmas.
First pickup the lady was really nice and very polite.
Second pickup a couple of days later and got attitude from the lady that was behind the counter. No apparent reason why almost like I'd asked for something really difficult. Give code, give ID, sign for parcel and take parcel, not too difficult?
