Absolutely awful customer service, the staff are extremely rude, when asked if there was any sauce or beans the “waitress” bluntly said no whilst walking away without even looking at us, 50% of the breakfast advertised was unavailable with no offer of replacement for something different without there being a charge and still being expected to pay full price, drinks advertised as “refillable” are not actually refillable so it is a good idea to check which ones the staff feel like refilling on the day to avoid disappointment and when questioned the staff enjoy taking the argument route rather than honouring what is clearly advertised on their menu. To save any hassle if you walk 100m down the road there is a Greggs.
Visit regularly, foods always excellent, front of house staff need some customer training, always feel like I've done something wrong each time I go to order with the looks/language you receive
High standard hotel for £88.00 for TWO nights. Near to Chatsworth House by scenic drive. Usual bar and food.
Well organised during covid
Went to weatherspoons after reopening. You can still go to the bar to pay for food if you do not have the app (and they do take cash but prefer contactless). Food was great and with the eat out to help out deal everything is extremely cheap. I had a drink, main meal and dessert for about £4 altogether! Saying that they were rather busy but do have extra seating outside. The only faults was finding sauces and condiments I needed to ask around for where to find them and the poor waiters were carrying hot plates around bare handed meaning they had to stop and keep dropping plates on tables to cool their hands. Overall I would say a good weatherspoons give it a try.
