First time at the Plough Inn, staff were polite, decor nice. Food ☹. I ordered the cottage pie. It was bland, definitely not homemade mash, old and plasticy, my girlfriends lasagne was like scrambled egg and burnt and was short changed on the garlic bread. The best bit was the side salad. Also they didnt seem to know the contents of the menu. The server looked embarrassed when collecting out plates.
Had a lovely meal and felt safe. Enjoyed our visit
Would be nice to know that pub is closed. Would save me 1hr travel. Google shows that it’s open but on arrival it looks abandoned.
Brilliant food, good prices, really polite and pleasant staff.
Definitely recommend this place.
Went for a meal last week with friends, service was great throughout our visit and all staff were friendly. We all found it hard to choose what to have as the menu has plenty of choice! Food was served quickly and was all piping hot and as described. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals, I had the chilli beef skillet which was lovely! 2 of us had a dessert also which again we enjoyed. We noticed a couple of good offers that they do too, so will definitely be back to try them!!
