Cracking pub, good food, good beer and friendly staff.
Lovely two days away and staff very friendly
Just called in this morning for a full breakfast staff and service very good. Breakfast was excellent well cooked and very enjoyably. Only 9pm too early for a beer 🍺 would recommend lovely pub.
Excellent little game old world pub serving a decent selection of well kept local ales and good traditional pub grub. The staff are really friendly helpful and have been working tirelessly throughout the lockdown. At our last visit it was table service only and so popular is the pub that people were being turned away. That said service is excellent and we never waited long to be served . Rooms are quaint, old world again, ours had the biggest shower we’ve ever seen. Definitely recommend a stay at very reasonable prices.
Staff gave an incredibly warm and friendly welcome. Family of 5 arriving at 8pm with 2 dogs, super hospitality, food is of amazing quality and great portion sizes. Left very full and happy.
Will definitely head here next time. Wouldn’t eat anywhere else in Castleton now to be honest.
