Went here for food yesterday when on holiday. We were made to feel really welcome. Good variety on the menu and the pie was one of the best I've had - delicious! Definitely recommend.
Dropped in for a drink and lunch. Staff friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Plenty of choice on the menu. All five of us were pleased with the quality and quality of food on our plates. We will go back if we return to the area.
Food was AMAZING, hospitality was AMAZING, they were adhering to the correct track and trace and social distancing measures. Despite those being in place, they managed to still make me and my friend feel welcome.
Definitely wouldn't pass up the opportunity to come here again, if anything, I'd love to hire the chef and his team because of the food being so GORGEOUS.
I'd definitely recommend the Chicken with mash and the mushroom sauce as well as the BBQ Ribs.

Delicious food, terrible waiters.. The same table was handled by 3. One did not know what the other had already agreed with us. There is no light in the garden. I ate in the dark. It wasn't pleasant.... No one informed me how much we would wait for food.. We waited more than 1h..... Like an animal-friendly place but our pets didn't even get a bowl of water!

Lovely pub in Castleton! Well set up for new regulations...one way systems and hand sanitiser available. Lovely food menu and great choice of drinks! We enjoyed our meal...Great burgers and salmon. Good, friendly service, would recommend a visit if in the area!
