Great experience at this campsite. Simple set up, just the way I like it. Gently sloping field looking on to beautiful countryside. Set on small farm in village location but only short drive to larger towns with supermarkets.
Run by a very friendly couple who I found very welcoming and helpful. Great shower/wash/toilet facilities plus an under cover outside dish washing area, all of which are kept beautifully clean. Plenty of free hot water.
Didn’t use one myself, but there appeared to be fire pits and wood available at the site, which I thought was a really nice touch for when the evenings are chilly.
I think the site is excellent value for money and I would definitely use it again when in the area.
Great little camping. Very friendly and helpful owners. Clean toilets and shower facilities. Located perfectly for exploring both parts of Peak District. ALDI and other shops nearby. Recommended
One of the best understated campsites I have used. The owners are a lovely family who can't do enough to help you. The fire braziers are well maintained and stocked. The numbers of pitches are limited to keep it solitary and unspoiled. Local walks and views suit amateurs and more experienced always alike. The toilet and shower facilities are well built and lovingly maintained as is the dishwasher station. Very cheap and great value for singles, couples and families with kids.
Amazing campsite, toilets and showers are very clean. We hired a fire pit and the owner dropped off extra wood throughout the night. Really went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome
