It is a shame there isn't a sixth star to tick, as I was unable to find a fault with our holiday or the accommodation, or the location. The cottage (Lose Hill) was sparklingly clean and had every possible convenience. The kitchen was fully equipped, and had enough for 4 settings. The log burner in the sitting room was a blessing as the evenings we're starting to chill off a bit. The double bed was lovely and comfortable. As for the location of the farm. Because you are at the end of a lane, there is no noise from passing road traffic, just the occasional hiker on the footpath along the back if the property, and the rumble of a train from the line across the valley.
We found the farm well situated for the local conveniences in Hope, and we made use of the pubs, and shops (which are well stocked with necessities).
Sauced Here, recommended by the hosts, provided a food delivery which was on the side when we arrived. All good quality and it meant that we didn't need to go back out that day.
Thoroughly recommended if you want a tranquil break, to walk, drive and explore. We will definitely be going back. Thank you both.
Our stay in Haddy's Hut was lovely. Such a wonderful gem and chance to get away from this crazy year for a couple of days. Great location for Peak walks too. Will definitely visit again!

All the amenities provided for a good vacation. Good base for exploring. Well organised accommodation. Cottage sparkling clean. Will definitely come back for another stay.
We loved the peace and tranquility of Haddy's Hut where our closest neighbours were sheep and the morning view of Winn Hill was stunning. Our hosts had thought of everything so the hut was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location, about a mile from the lovely village of Hope, was ideal. A resounding 5* from us, thank you.
We had a lovely weeks stay at The Dairy cottage. It was immaculately clean, and really comfortable and it had everything in it that we could need. Julie and Steven were great hosts, and we are already looking forward to a weekend in Haddy's Hut in the near future.
