This is a fairly small but standard travelodge. I wouldn't have normally took time out to leave a review, if it wasn't for a phone call received around 30 minutes after leaving to advise we had left a bag, giving us time to return before getting too far away. Very good service.
When staying at a place like this when they are 'all the same' this sort of service sets the average apart from the good. Thanks for good service.
This is a GEM of a place to stay, FRIENDLY helpful staff. Room was comfortable with a Heating control from 0 to 7 and a MAX setting for SUPER heating. Nearby shops include a range of take-aways with a good Toby Carvery restaurant right next door. Plenty of free car parking. PERFECT place to stay. A shower but no bath, hence 4 star for the room.
The hotel was lovely and clean, looks like its just been painted. The accessable bathroom was perfect for my mum who has mobility problems, again very clean. The two ladies we met who were on duty were friendly and welcoming all in all extremely good stay and value for money.
Really comfy bed, fan in the room which was good. Would stay again
The hotel itself was ok, plenty of shops around. The downside is very limited storage space and noisy guests. So noisy infact we left at 3am and returned home as there wasn't anything reception could do to stop them.
