We stayed in 3 kingfisher lodge and the lodge was very dirty the family bathroom shower was broken the hot and cold water taps in the family bathroom turned when you turned them on there's cobwebs in every room and loads of spiders the kitchen table we had to clean because it had jam on it the outside table was extremely filthy it does need a hell of a lot of TLC and really in need of up dating and they need a new cleaner to make sure the lodges are clean and tidy when you arrive but besides that the grounds was perfect and so peaceful the fishing lakes are excellent but it is a shame they don't pay as much attention on the lodges than you do the grounds you might get people coming back

We Should have taken note of the state of the place as we were shown to the campsite, looked like a graveyard for neglected caravans ,but as we were camping didn't affect us in that part, but when we went to use the toilets was in for a shock, there were countless dead blue bottles in the unit, it smelt of damp and cigarettes, despite there being signs saying no smoking , the " shop " if it can be called that, was designed around the fishing grounds maggots and fishing item's to buy food items , etc was a trip to the nearest town, and the " cafe " which was permanently closed; would look better in a horror movie, there was supposed to be a reception but that hadn't been used for 5 years, I know this because there's faded magazines from 2013, while we were around that area decided to look at the lodges and " glamping" huts , all I can say is that if I'd have arrives to stay in either of them and saw them, I'd be demanding my money back , mould on the curtains with brown stains and cobwebs the place has a neglected feel to it as can be seen when you go through the entrance. Gypsies would feel at home here, they might even improve it, over priced and filthy, stay up the road, cleaner and friendlier

dirty lodges with many faults. roads full of puddles and pot holes unsafe and your car gets damaged. owners unhelpful and rude who like to spy on you. electric meters are so expensive same as wi-fi. never, never again. the sight is full of lorries and trucks with workers crammed into the lodges making a noise drinking at night and going off to work early morning. owner likes his CASH envelopes.
