Tesco Superstore

Very disappointed with this Honiton Tesco’s this time in Lockdown. I thought we were supposed to be social distancing and taking care. Going around the store tonight there were tons of children, I appreciate you have to take children shopping, but one family had mum pushing the trolley, one teenager with her and three small children who were running up and down the aisles, laughing, joking, and the teenager was winding them up. Surely mum could have come in with one and the teenager could have looked after the other two in the car or outside. I didn’t think that amount from one family were allowed in store. Everyone was moaning about the lack of social distancing and everyone allowed to do what they like. I felt really sorry for one mum who had a toddler in a trolley and had a another child of about 5 who was keeping hers under control and was getting upset as the other parents didn’t care less and no member of staff was restricting entry to these families or asking for them to be kept under control and not run up and down the aisles messing around. She said to me I am trying so hard to abide by the rules and there are people like that who give mums a bad name and I don’t want people to think I would let mine behave like that. Come on Tesco’s this is not good enough , this virus is out of control, you could at least restrict the amount of people from the same family entering the store like last time. There were a lot of people in you store tonight not impressed at all.

I have been using this Tesco since it opened 25 years ago when Honiton was a lot smaller than it is now. The staff have always been great, OK, the selection is smaller than it is in larger branches and sometimes you cannot always get exactly what you want but if you want a greater selection go an live/shop in a city. As for 'jazzing up the aisles' please don't, they are fine they way they are.

Does what it says on the tin! Smaller than some so doesn't have as much choice.
