Had a great 2 night stay at The Heathfield. It’s a lovely old pub with a thatched roof and nice interior. It’s off the main road but well worth diverting off to. It’s a short walk from the town - make sure to use the shortcut through to the main road! Carlos is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The room was massive which we were not expecting! And the bathroom had a bath with shower which was great (rather than just a shower which most places seem to have). Breakfast was very good with a choice of continental and cooked. Food in the pub was also very good - generous portions and very reasonable prices - and there was a lot of choice on the menu. Great stay overall and definitely recommend!
Bit of a strange location as have to drive though some residential streets to get there but good food. Need more staff as only 2 front of house staff for the pub and restaurant. Good food and a good price
Stayed for one night just before lockdown. The room was big and nice , neat , friendly stuff . I just didn't like the way the owner spoke to me it seemed like he was a bit of a money grabber in a way . But not bad
