Lovely pub - recently taken over by new owners who are doing a great job at offering a substantial meal and socially distanced dining without loosing the cosy pub aesthetics.
I felt very safe having boxing day lunch there whilst the rugby was on - lots of antibac and they offered table service, as well as takeaway if you don't fancy cooking but aren't ready to dine out just yet... Would definitley recommend a visit!
Great evening, best pub I've been to in ages. Most amazing stuff inside, a little like a military museum but in a good way. Great service and the best Rioja I've tasted in ages.
Great little pub with friendly and accommodating staff. Make sure you ask for Barry to serve you, he’s a real laugh.
Only downside is they don’t tolerate hobos with glue sniffing tendencies. As a result I’ve been banned for 16 years or so. I didn’t take the replica gun it was Bruce and he also clogged up the gents on numerous occasions.
