Beautiful and perfect holiday for your dog too !
Oh wow where to begin, this place is just so beautiful and peaceful and something that you must try but then I am not so sure I like the idea of sharing such a beautiful place with everyone,,,oh well. The Orchard Retreat is run so well by the lovely Vicky and Nick who seem to have everything covered so well. We stayed in the Yurt which was just fantastic, so comfortable and homely. We had a stove to keep you warm in the April evening, the beds are amazingly comfortable and snug. We get woken up by the Birds in the morning and that's all, at night time you hear nothing but peace and tranquillity. The local village pub "The Ring of Bells" is amazing and one place not to be missed. After a good pub lunch and chilling in the orchard try the hammock and better still the outdoor shower or bath or just take a lazy walk in the meadows and through the woods. The loo's, other shower and the kitchen facilities and incredibly clean and items well provided. You can buy drink or juice from their shop. Apple juice from the orchard on this site, the cider was so beautiful. Everything is locally sourced, earth friendly products offered and items recycled. All credit to Vicky and Nick for making us fell so welcome, we shall share our lovely adventure with our friends and hope to return again in the near future, hoping there will be availability.

Amazing family friendly place: fantastic location, welcoming hosts, plenty of activities (badminton, ping-pong, football, hammock, little terraces), hidden jam (tub house), all new modern furniture, environmentally friendly utilities and products, lovely little shop with local products, tree house for kids and many many more. Our family is just back from the Easter holidays and can't wait to go back there. We were staying in Pippin yurt and can ensure you it was the greatest adventure for our kids! Best memories ever!
Stunningly beautiful setting, perfect for getting away from it all. The yurt was beautiful and cosy and the facilities were spot on. We had a fantastic holiday here.
