I went to Cardiff last month and chose to stay with the Safehouse Hostel. Well, I’d say I made the best decision because these guys are brilliant. They have great food, and the best tour packages. The free walking tour was fabulous. Led by a professional and friendly guide, I enjoyed sight-seeing and visited different eateries and shopping areas. I also got home some amazing souvenirs for friends and family. I am thinking of revisiting Cardiff and staying at the Safehouse Hostel next month.

I've travelled quite extensively and I can without a shadow of a doubt say that this is by far the best hostel there is. Located in the heart of Cardiff, it gives you access to virtually anything and everything this beautiful city has to offer. At the hostel the beds are high quality, well equipped and extremely clean. The rooms themselves are in excellent order. The bathrooms are spotless and kept that way. The kitchen is more than adequate for any of your needs during your stay. But above everything else, it's Tom and his staff. Never will you come across a group of people who are this amazing. They will go out of their way to make your stay in Cardiff not only pleasant but also one to remember for quite a while. Not a day went by during my stay that I felt I was away from home, that is how incredible the Safehouse is.

I love this place so damn much. My first hostel stay, and I'd rather be here than most hotels. The staff and fellow boarders are all fantastic, the building is beautiful and has a very interesting history from the early 1900's and the location is prime. For a solid meal, check out Bar 44 just down the street on the same block, some of the best tapas I've ever had and an equally friendly staff. This block have me a solid introduction to Cardiff.

We got a private room on the top floor, our stay was fantastic. Great sociable atmosphere, basic but nice room, nice downstairs area. They also host plenty of events and activities, including their own tours.
