It proved to be one of the best two days we have spent anywhere thanks to the welcoming cosy accommodation, and the most scrumptious food you could wish for. The wagon ride with four beautiful shire horses in the lovely rolling Devon hills was fantastic! Thank you so much.

My mother's wish was to go to her own funeral in a horse drawn hearse. Despite awful weather Jonathan and his beautiful horses and amazing vintage hearse made mum's last trip a wonderful one. Jonathan himself was kindness personified and waited so the mourners could talk to him and meet the horses after the service. Thank you very much Higher Biddacott Farm for making a difficult day a memorable one and helping our mum's family to honour her last wish.
Fantastic!!! Great hosts. They could not be more helpful. Beautiful location. We were only going to stay one night but it ended up being three. The Shire horses are superb. In short, couldn't be happier.
I was attending a wedding and found a long black hair in my food while they were doing my catering.
Lovely Devon Farmhouse with owners who are kind , generous and thoughtful. Cooking of a high standard produced a very contented and happy prechristmas celebration. Well done
