I love this place and am kicking myself that I did not book it for half term. We stayed in the B&B side and loved it. Breakfast was served every morning by Matt, and for most of the time, this was on the outside as the weather allowed. When not possible, it was left outside the room. Dinner would be provided by Lisa if required and the two work together to provide pizza. There are so many things about this place that I love, but the best thing would be the waterfall which makes this haven even more relaxing. My wife and kids may disagree as the bedrooms were amazing, as was the bathroom the kids had.
We have stayed with Matt and Lisa a couple of times and would definitely come again next time we are in Devon! The rooms have been done up to a high standard, their hospitality is next level and the breakfasts are awesome! It's a perfect getaway from city life, set in a secluded farm and the local pub is a 20 minute walk through the countryside. Added bonus that it is dog friendly! If you're thinking of exploring north Devon, i would highly recommend staying here :)
Lovely B&B with very kind, attentive hosts with culinary talents. Their sausage was delicious, best I've had in the UK. Was great to have our pooch along as well. Great local parks and nature to be enjoyed!

Stayed in the Tin can Cottage for 3 night break and absolutely fell in love with the place. Matt was welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Idyllic surroundings, perfect for a relaxing break. The cottage itself was compact with everything you need and the bed was so comfy we literally sank into the mattress and pillows!
The private outdoor space is just beautiful at night with the fairy lights and a lovely space during the day to sit out and listen to the birds tweeting and the distant bleating of the sheep.
The hot tub is worth the wait, and all part of the fun stoking and maintaining the fire that heats it. Makes it all the more rewarding when finally get in !
Definitely recommend a trip to the local pub also.
Was just the break we needed to recharge, relax and spend a bit of time closer to nature. We are already saving for a return trip !
