The fact that Bampfield Farm has received only 5 star reviews should have spoken for itself in advance but we were wonderfully surprised with everything. Lynda and Neil were incredibly generous hosts going above and beyond in everything - in particular the tour of the dairy (for my me) and the goat and chicken feeding each morning (for my son). We had a simply brilliant time from start to finish.
Wonderful, relaxing week. Well spec'd cottage but so much more. Warm and comfortable on a wild and very wet week, lovely location away from it all yet handy enough to explore some of North Devon. And the extras that show so much care: friendly hosts, free ranging chickens and their eggs, delicious cream tea on arrival and even gorgeous farm cats.
We had a wonderful time here. Not only was it a fantastic cottage to stay in, the host was wonderful and the activities on the farm were perfect for our kids. This is the best place for any family to stay while wants to experience all that devon has to offer

We had the most wonderful family holiday. Bampfield Farm is an amazing place for children and my 2 year old son and his cousin had an amazing time feeding the chickens and riding the ponies. Lynda was really wonderful too. Being on a working farm was a great experience and the local scenery couldn’t be more beautiful too. Perfect English countryside. We will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend Bampfield Farm highly enough!
