No help on Christmas day with the crisis team while they where have christmas dinner in the home cafe. Had to call Glangwili who were great and understanding

Worst care I have ever received. No compassion or empathy, or any effort to find a diagnosis. Lost the ability to walk, eat and in so much pain, at 25 years old. Discharged me after two days. I should have been sent to Swansea straight away for a neurological assesment. Instead I was sent home with no checking how I would cope with such a loss of mobility. I had to beg the GP to refer me to a occupational therapist and physio. I ended up back in Bronglias with cardiac issues, 2 stone lighter a month later, malnourished and needing to use a wheelchair. Been here for 3 weeks with no progress or diagnosis, barely any testing done, barely been seen by a Dr and when you do, they don't listen. Drs seem to be mysterious mythical creatures on the ward, rarely to be seen. Nurses are like robots and needs fall on deaf ears. Still waiting for a bed in Swansea. Due to the delay for neurology, I fear I will never be able to walk again properly. A feeding tube was inserted in my nose, and I started choking and was terribly ill and vomiting. I called for help and a nurse called me a baby. I was forced to pull the NG tube out myself. It hasn't been replaced and I've been starving. Never been so traumatised in this place while also witnessing severe lack of care of more vulnerable patients. Calling out and crying and ignored. I held an 88 year olds hand all night because she was so upset. Not good enough. The hygiene in this hospital is also appalling, toilets and corridors dirty. Bed is rarely changed, I have to ask over and over for a wash bowl. Been unable to shower since being in here because no one will assist me. Considering we are in a 2nd wave of the pandemic, this is not good enough. I do not feel safe from Covid in here. I would like to complain to the health board about my experiences here.

I needed to go in to A&E on Saturday night and I can't fault my treatment at all, the medical and nursing staff were brilliant. As a nurse myself I was struck by the level of professionalism, care and treatment provided by both the medical and nursing staff. And the place was spotless! Well done !!
