Found this pub on google maps and what a gem it was social distancing and felt very safe. Lovely friendly staff who catered to my kids needs and requests nothing was to much trouble. Food was amazing and very generous portions. We went back for breakfast on the following morning and again 5 star service again.

The food was very good the staff very friendly and welcoming but, our table wasnt in the best position. Just in front of the disabled toilets. Because of Covid they've made little cubicles with plywood and whilst it very practical, your just in your own little space. You dont get the full pub atmosphere. On the other hand the outside space is very pretty and well kept.

Really glad found this place - surprise of "Eat out to help out" government scheme of Aug 2020. The menu - you find the same items in many fast-food chains and "reheating" type places - but this is what happens when you wave a magic wand over the concepts with best local ingredients done well. Very local pub feel. Absolutely great.

Good food and service, unfortunately we had an audience for the last 15 minutes, the pub dog. We love dogs but not by the side of your dining table whilst eating. Time and a place to be honest. Won't be returning, sorry.

Lovely evening sitting outside in the sun. They have converted part of the car park so that there is lots of space for socially distanced tables. Ordering is by an app with table service, so you don't have to set foot inside. It feels very safe. There is a good choice of beer and the house Chardonnay is excellent. The cod and chips and the lamb patty burger were both really good and sensibly priced. For a really pleasant, relaxed, reasonably-priced meal out you couldn't do better!
