Service was OK but had different servers everytime and wasn't consistent. Over charged on our bill two instead of one. One meal didn't come out with the others. No apology, they weren't very forthcoming. Food was lovely however the children's chicken was very peppery and too spicy for them. The burger was very spicy too and wasn't advertised to be so. Lovely place but won't hurry back!
Good food, needs a better menu for kids.
Lovely country pub, really felt like it was the heart of the community. Maybe there was something special on but the place was really busy, but no lengthy wait at the bar & we still managed to get a seat and ordered some food which we really expected would take some time in view of how busy it was!
However the food arrived incredibly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The bar staff were super efficient & friendly. There were books and magazines to read too.
There's a secluded car park at the rear, that was big enough for a couple of motorhomes!! Maybe if you asked nicely!!!!!
Stopped here for a drink when cycling the Granite Way. Lovely location, good selection of real ales. Very very busy though with limited seating and car parking.
Lovely place and staff, great tasty meals !
