Very well maintained camp site, excellent shower and toilet block. It is right next to the main road so recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Over all and excellent site, highly recommended.

We have only visited, not stayed, looked around, spoke to owners, looks great, owners really lovely, cafe/bar next door was really good with lovely staff. We will be booking in before close Oct for sure. .....we're here now! 12th Sept.... lovely camp site, right by cycle route on old railway track, nice tarmac trail, great for dog walking, kids cycling will be coming back as regulars now.

Awesome little site. Bike shop/pub just outside site. Right on the cycle trail.

Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of July, lovely site & although facilities are dated they are immaculately clean with powerful showers. The site is level & sheltered & the best part is the access to the cycle trial which we used to walk our dogs & as I use a mobility scooter it was perfect. Okehampton is 15 mins in the car & has the usual array of supermarkets & shops. A service area within walking distance sells anything you would need in an emergency or if your happy to pay that bit more than a supermarket & a small shop on site has some essentials. Yes the A30 is close by but unless you live in the country you will be used to some level of noise so like us probably not notice it + if your like me you sleep well when your away due to all the fresh air. Overall I would highly recommend this family owned & run site with no fancy club house or swimming pool & no list of do & don’ts just a basic friendly site at a reasonable cost.

Bin there for 26 nights (motorcycle and tent)..very good money for value ratio, I paid £10 pro night in the peak season where others asked £15-£25..because of the weather I pitched my tent next to te camper bbq area and used the seats and tinroofde shelter for my outside living easpecially when it rained..this way despite the wind and rain I could enyoi the outdoor live..perfect location for walks into Dartmoor..cycling there a cyckle hire within 500m..and touring trough Devon and Cornwal..peacefull campingsite with clean and warm showers..very nice owners. Close to the A386 and A30 gives some noice bute gets used quick en makes it very easy for a spin. When I am in Dartmoor I will defenetively be back! I did not use the shop at tge services (10m walk) but went to the (super) stores in Okehampton (10m) and Tavistock (25m..nice road). Sit and relax on the Bedford squire neare the pannier market in Travistock!
