We thought we would drive down as we were on holiday in the area. Checked their Facebook-hadn't been updated since 2017. Checked their website, also hadn't been updated in forever. Google said it was open but couldn't find a phone number to call. Got there and it was closed for refurbishment. Very disappointing as it looked cool from the outside, I don't feel like it would take much effort to update their online pages to let people know.

EVERYONE should stop here - at least for a quick look! It lives up to it's description of Britain's most unusual pub, what other Pubs have Tutankhamun and a Minotaur? We only popped in out of curiosity and had a quick Diet Coke, but were given a lovely welcome from the lady behind the bar.
