I've used this bowling facility for around 20 years so it was a great sight to see the recent refurbishment. The layout is much better, feels clean and more family friendly. They have even replaced the old divot filled balls with new ones. Customer service was excellent.
Social distancing measures were good but it seemed to be getting a lot busier when we left. Every other lane was in use so we weren't too close to other people.
Food menu is pricey but not too dissimilar to other bowling alleys. Kids deals are your best option.
Overall it was a lovely experience.
Website said it was opened travelled from Purley to find it was shut so disappointed
Having undergone a much needed makeover. Lewisham Lanes are now one of the best centres locally. Well worth a visit.
I have been coming to play bowling for many years, when it was MFA, lewisham Bowl and now Lewisham Lanes. The new name and recent refurbishment is noticeably outstanding. It was great to see some of the previous staff still employed, particularly Tyler who I recognised on my last visit, as well as previously at Lewisham Bowl. He was very good with my children who have disabilities, his smiling face and friendly helpful manner during a very busy period did not fail him to ensure we were having a good experience. I look forward to future visits at the new Lewisham lanes.
It's extremely outdated and feels like stepping back into the 90s. Avoid the toilets if possible. Fine for playing one or two rounds of bowling with children and then leaving.
