A warm reception on arrival with nothing being to much trouble for the lovely staff. The cuisine was absolutely 1st class with such a wide range of beautiful food. The only negative was the fact we had to leave and go home.

This hotel is one of a kind. It is a cliché to say this but it is true. Richard, your host and owner chats and walks around his home making sure you are having a good time. We had a small wedding reception in strict covid style and yet it felt like intimate stylish gathering. Food was superb and the service was exceptional. We had a room in the courtyard. The beds were as comfy as ever slept in and there was a generous gift of two large bottles of water. Thank you to Richard and his team!

We adored our stay at Plumber Manor. It is a very special place - primarily as the staff are just wonderful - kind, helpful, warm and engaging. It was easy to find - and as we drove up the laneway the place just looks gorgeous. Huge trees, a pond and stream surround the hotel in an idyllic setting. We had two rooms for a family of 5 in what I think must originally been the stables. The rooms were very big and well equipped. The shortbread biscuits were a bonus which were devoured happily every day! Now as someone with a bad back all I can say is the beds were just heavenly. Crisp, clean white bed linen with plump pillows.. I slept so well. I rarely find hotels comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure was so strong that I did not have to wait long to have a full bath. After a long day in the rain on the coast this was a real treat. (We share bath water in our family to try and be eco friendly). The food was delicious - best breakfast. Dinner was divine and the wine list was top notch. I cannot recommend highly enough!

A quiet few days away was what we were looking for, and we had that plus so much more. Plumber Manor is a gem in a beautiful setting, the garden is a delight. Staff and were warm, caring and easy to chat to. Host Richard is unique, simply one of a kind, his friendly banter and sense of fun made our evenings. Absolutely no question we will return.
