Wow! What a lovely lady running this place!
Spacious, freedom to choose where to pitch, not crowded (limiting numbers), fire pits provided, facilities, a pub and a forest next door. We even rolled in without cash expecting to pay by card but were allowed on for our booking, allowed to get a bag of wood and firelighters and paid on departure - amazing!
Toilets were portaloo's so not very nice really but completely acceptable (maybe a bit worse for the wife though). Maybe worth having a mobile card terminal?
Will certainty be back 😀
Myself and my partner stayed over the weekend with another couple and had a great time. Not like the usual campsites with bars and full of rowdy groups, very relaxed and a good mix of people. Showers and toilets were clean and I would recommend to anyone to go. 👍
Beautiful location, rustic but incredibly clean toilets, showers, sinks and washing up areas. The most wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts ever! I would highly recommend this site.
Great camping spot. Fantastic facilities and right next to pub. Kids and adults enjoyed it all round. Prices reasonable too
Very relaxed and laid back site. Just opened post easing of lockdown and they are taking reduced bookings and cleaning very seriously. Very friendly to deal with and the site is quiet in the evening and doesn't get too noisy in the morning if you like a sleep in :) Thanks Christina and team, we will be sure to return :)
