good site. all usual facilities. toilets clean and excellent social distancing measures introduced. I recommend a walk to the 2 Sawyers pub, but take a torch as you will be walking through the woods to get there.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The site is not too big and is set in a lovely location. Perfect if you have a dog as there are woods just outside the entrance with many trails zig zagging through. There are also other walks from the site. A visit to the 'Two Sawyers' pub is a must for a meal. Just a 10 minute walk from the site through the woods. The wardens were very friendly & helpful, & also did a great job with the extra cleaning routines required because of the covid virus. At the time of our stay half of all the facilities were closed off because of social distancing, but this didn't cause any problem at all. If you want a quiet get away from it all place to stay, you can't go wrong here. A word of warning, the entrance lane is very narrow, so don't try & arrive early as you may meet someone leaving, not many passing places.

Neil and wife are dedicated to their job and covid guidelines, I have never been to a site that is cleaner than this and the showers are the best I've ever used, It was lovely for just me and hubby but apart from surrounding woodland their is nothing for children to do, i often go away with grandchildren i would not bring them here apart from the fact there is nothing for them, my grandchildren would be far to noisy and this site is very quiet. Loved it thank you xx

This was our first experience of a Club site and it has set an impressively high bar. Very sensible Covid-19 precautions, which made us feel very safe. Immaculately clean facilities and sensibly distanced pitches. The site itself is well placed for hiking, very dog friendly. The local store is excellent (see The Old Butcher's Shop Pett on Facebook) . Locally sourced meats and vegetables, fruit, dairy, free range eggs, condiments, herbs and spices and only a short walk. The camp reception has a small shop too, but the end of season stock was, I'm sure, not a true representation of their normal inventory. The camp information centre had bus routes, footpath directions, cycling suggestions etc. Bus timetables were available too. Well located for Hastings, Winchelsea and Rye, I would recommend it to anyone wishing to explore historic East Sussex.
