Great little pub. Formal bar, public bar, outside space. Live music, pool and good beer and friendly locals.
We stayed at Slipperfield cottage in the lovely little village of West Linton. Our host suggested we eat here and very pleased we did.
Decent sized portions not expensive good beer and friendly staff.

This is an excellent Village Pub, cosy with a large open wood burning fire, in the pub lounge. and the staff give a warm welcome, good pub style food, not a huge menu but what is available is always tasty and reliable and enjoyable, there are a few specials if you want something different.
The owners try very hard to make your experience as good as they can. I was at the pub Quiz last night, this is held once a month and is popular with the locals, good fun and not taken too serious. They also hold other events from time to time, like music evenings, which are well attended. Overall a good place to relax and enjoy with or without friends, if your on your own, or new to the area or just passing through, there will always be someone who will love to chat to you. There is a dining room if you prefer to eat in that type of environment. The Gordon offers accommodation I'm afraid I can't comment on this as I've never been to see it. There is a small car park at the side of the building. Good pub in a beautiful Village.
