The service here was great on the night we visited, unfortunately the food was really just OK and I've had better takeaway food. The steak and ale pie was very tasty to be fair although the steak was a little tough. The jumbo cod and chips was a major disappointment in both presentation and size. There was more flavour in the gravy for the steak and ale pie than in my jumbo cod and chips with mushy peas. The saving grace f I have r the meal was the deserts consisting of Millionaires Cheese cake and the Chocolate fudge cake which were very enjoyable if your a chocolate lover. The service from the wait staff was also the stand out of the evening!

The new inn pub used to be a great pub i have lived in Langstone for 20 plus years and I will say it’s not like it used to be I’ll start with the food the first time i put it down to an off day for the cook but the second time just made it clear it’s wasn’t an off day Some off the staff at the new inn are lovely I feel they have a lot of younger members of staff that lack customer service skills and it seems anything you ask. E.g for cutlery or condiments is to much for them to do I am highly disappointed with the pub as of late I really hope you guys can try harder

Great value for money great atmosphere and loved the Christmas decorations and music!! Love using the app as we don’t have to move from our table, food and beer at our fingertips

Foods good and price is ok but room is unbearably hot and could hardly sleep. Edit. Went to look for someone to ask for a fan and there was no one on reception phone was switched off and no one answered the buzzer that I pressed over and over, even tho a member of staff told us they'd be here all night, its currently 3am. I will be asking for a refund and putting a complaint in. Horrific place to stay. 2nd edit the morning after ---- we finally found someone at reception when we were leaving at 8am. The woman said there was someone upstairs in the flat at all times but the emergency phone was switched off and they were upstairs. Not much good to us. She also said if it was a real emergency to call 999. Also not the point of our complaint. There has to be a level of caring for guests and this was beyond a joke. Will be getting a refund 👍 stay here at your own risk.

Very nice staff and very nice food and all reasonably priced.. kids have the ultimate candy each which to be fair one could be suffice... Thanks The New Inn...
