Myself, my mother in law and my daughter went see Father Christmas, his reindeer and we also had food here today but I am slightly disappointed with the fact that Father Christmas didn't take my daughter to his grotto for pictures when I paid for that experience. My daughter would of loved that me included as it adds to the Christmas magic and the pictures we took would of looked much nicer too than the ones taken by the fire exit doors 😏☹. I also thought that my daughter may of received a better gift than a hot chocolate kit and reindeer magic sprinkles, a toy or a chocolate selection box would of been more appropriate especially for a child. I know that she had a free meal included but I feel it isn't the usual meeting Father Christmas experience so yes I am slightly disappointed.

Food was nice it's a shame they can't do the refillable drinks no more and they are very limited to what food you can order but overall it was good x

After visiting last night after work for the first time since February, I thought I'd share a few thoughts. Firstly during the time of Covid, there is no carvery, Instead it's ordered directly from your table, you are then asked which items from a list you would like on your meal, in my case I was very specific, the plate came totally wrong, after that was corrected we found the vegetables very under cooked, the meat incredibly chewy, the gravy excessively salty. It had the appearance of being kept under a warming lamp, the gravy becoming lumpy with cornflour as it cooled, I'm sure the meat had been sliced in advance rather than carved fresh, in short a dreadful meal, my wife complained and we were offered free desserts which we declined. Nothing was taken off the bill, the soft drinks are no longer refills, at almost £3 a drink I should of had a beer, we did pay in full. A hugely disappointing experience, best avoided at least until carvery service has resumed.
