Absolutely disgusted! Booked online for our family to eat in the restaurant, nothing on the booking to say that ID would be required. We arrived on time only to be told we couldn’t eat without ID!!! I won’t be returning the attitude of the staff member on the door was not acceptable. Trying to support our local business, times are hard as it is, get it right and give people advance warning s, you’ve had two weeks to inform us of this requirement
Very nice meal today. Social distancing inside which was perfect. Very nice and helpful staff, as always. Always a pleasure to visit and have a meal, in safety.
Very nice place, had food here just before Xmas staff were great, the male manager with short hair and glasses was particularly welcoming
Great food, friendly staff and a perfect time. New covid rules handled brilliantly. Would love to have the 2 for £12 menu back though ;)
My wife and I had a carvary and two pints of Peroni larger. We absolutely enjoyed the meal , the only fault was maybe a lack of choice of larger and veg. But these are very small issues, the pub was very clean and tidy, inside and outside areas. Staff were very welcoming and proficient in following the track and trace policies, and calling people to collect their carvary from the chef, who you asked behind the protective perspective screen to place you're meat, veg, and gravey on the plate.
