I went to this place with members of my family for a birthday dinner. What a lovely place , a couple of things did let it down though. Where we sat was near the bar , it was freezing there . I personally don't feel the cold , but even this time I could have done with a woolly jumper and coat. The food came , it was ok , but if you pay £26 for a steak it should be outstanding. I wouldn't rush back , a long way out , for in my opinion overpriced food. Service was also very slow.
Just have to love this place. Always a warm welcome and staff are attentive without pestering and hovering over you. Have to give a thumbs up for Aaron👍
The Sunday lunch is my preferred time to visit. The food is scrumptious😋

I had a Beef dinner absolutely delicious ,the Beef was so tender. My husband had Lamb that was just as delicious as mine .Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
Had a meal here this evening with two 8year olds & 6 adults - ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Lovely welcome with great home cooked food & friendly impeccable service.
Kids loved the animals at the rear of the pub & playground next door.
Highly recommend.
