Amazing venue!! Even better staff. Made our stay one of the best we have had in the UK.
I'd never done an escape room before but The Clockwork Hotel was a great introduction to them and I can see what the fuss is about. I visited with some wedding industry friends in Feb this year and it was such great fun as a team building exercise but to also test your ability to cope under pressure.
After we'd solved the puzzles, we headed downstairs to enjoy a beautiful buffet as a group which was divine. I'd definitely do it again. The venue for this escape room is very unique and think it would work well for stag and hen parties as well as corporate team building. Or just for friends to get together.
The Clockwork Hotel is kind of like escape room meets crystal maze but much more welcoming in a very homely way.
Definitely a wonderful team-building activity that I was fortunate to experience with a bunch of lovely London Wedding suppliers that were part of BrunchFest 2020.
On our arrival we were welcomed with a glass of bubbly, the rest of the afternoon was spent trying to solve various tasks.
It was definitely fun!
Please, if you’re not keen on going up and down stairs, think twice before booking this experience, as it might not be suitable for you.
The staff at the Clockwork Hotel were very friendly and helpful. The lady dressed as a Victorian maid was absolutely hilarious.
The food was very well presented and delicious.
We didn’t use the spa.
Overall the experience was fun, exciting and very unique. A lovely venue too, very stylish.
I would definitely recommend this experience for any team building, friends reunion, stags or hen parties.

The Clockwork Hotel was a BRILLIANT experience!
It's part escape room, part Crystal Maze, part retreat; you run around a hotel, solving puzzles. Once you've cracked them all, you get to relax in a gorgeous hotel, complete with bar and spa!
I went with a group of industry professionals as part of a team-building exercise and I already want to go back!
I booked The Clockwork Hotel for an afternoon activity for a bunch of wedding suppliers and oh my god it was so much fun! Without wanting to give anything away, it was so original and such a unique experience that had us still talking about it the next day. The rooms looked beautiful, the hotel is so well decorated to such a high standard. I'm now rounding up friends and finding another excuse to visit!
