My favourite Rebel bar, more relaxed /intimate than Cardiff or Rogerstone. Food and beers as fantastic an innovative as you would expect

Average food, but what spoilt it for us was that we sat at the back and staff kept propping open the fire exit door mid October, so it was damn cold! The 3rd time closing it and staff reopening it, we asked why they kept doing it. The reply was for circulation! Then why not tell us that before we sat down? As the door was shut when we took our seats. I would give it 2.5 stars and we wouldn't go back.

My girlfriend and I visited for a drink, gave our details for Track & Trace, and ordered through the website, all fine. Our drinks arrived, and unfortunately my pint of Stay Puft was totally flat and tasted off. I told one of the servers, who took it back to the bar, and returned a few minutes later to offer me a different beer instead, as they weren’t able to fix the issue with the pump. He returned a few minutes later with only half a pint of my replacement beer, with no explanation, and no offer of a refund for the difference in price between my pint, and the half price replacement I was served. Not happy, and won’t be returning.

Easy to socially distance there, sitting outside. Staff are polite.
