Only in town for a long weekend. Nic and Jude were could not have made us feel anymore welcome. Super hosts running a great traditional pub. Amazing food prepared by Jude is tasty and plentiful. And not forgetting Nic, a fab host from behind the bar. Made myself, my wife and little lad really feel part of the crowd. Loved it and will visit again when humanly possible. X

Myself and family traveled up for a day out from Swansea stopped off her for food and drinks have to say the both owners husband and wife are very welcoming great chat, great selection of drinks and the food is second to none! Stunning all fresh and good quality cooked to perfection would highly recommend and will definitely be returning very soon. Thanks guys!!

I can honestly say this his been my best pub experience ever. Firstly I phoned to find out whether the various food preferences requested by this fussy family of four could be accommodated and was met with nothing but an eagerness to help and please. We arrived to a warm and friendly greeting from our hosts, Nick and Jude and were instantly made to feel at home. They then went above and beyond by suggesting that we could park up our motorhome for the night AND that they would return the extension lead that we had borrowed from the campsite half an hour up the road. The food was good and wholesome and freshly prepared just as proper home made fare should be. Also the sizeable portions were perfect as we had spent the day hiking. The whole family had a thoroughly enjoyable evening being entertained every step of the way with games of pool, chess and Nick's folk renditions were brilliant. Jude is a true earth mother and cared for us and the kids beautifully. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely drop in again next time in the area. Heart felt thanks to both you lovely folk Nick and Jude. Top marks!
