Long drive back yesterday, en route to cardiff, at about 4pm we stopped in Builth Wells and were starving! Didn’t like the look of any of the other establishments we passed, then about to give up and we saw this place offering roasts, but only till 3, we thought we’d see if they had another menu! They didn’t but almost without hesitation they agreed to do us a roast. My husband doesn’t normally, like roasts in restaurants he usually feels short changed! But this was amazing! Even our 7 year old had a good go (there was lots of food!) he’s hard to please. The meat was beautifully cooked, the Yorkshire’s gorgeous and all the veg very tasty , especially the cauliflower cheese! Stunning! Highly recommend. You could easily pass the place, but I recommend you don’t! A real gem. All the staff were really friendly!
Fabulous one night stay room lovely very warm welcome reasonable prices for food and drinks. Excellent breakfast. Would not hesitate to stay again hopefully in a few weeks time. Great value for money.
Very clean big rooms staff was lovely will definitely be going back for a nother stay will be recommend to all my friend and family
