Can’t fault this place one bit, whenever we go there we have the best time! Amazing for breakfast, lunch AND dinner which is such a rare find - with quality that is one of the best in Mumbles. The staff are consistently incredible, have the nicest vibe about them and will always do whatever they can to make your experience special, which is why it’s always my go to in Mumbles. Sam and Georgia have always created the nicest atmosphere whenever I’ve been there to just have a few drinks and make you feel right at home!

Absolutely superb if you are visiting Mumbles this place is brilliant. We turned up today just as it was opening. We sat outside the atmosphere the staff created brilliant. The service was quick and the staff absolutely delightful. Nothing was too much trouble they are an absolute credit to this establishment. The quality of the food and drinks here first class we ended up having a second drink - we didn't want to leave ! It was a great experience and it took you away from the stress that is around during these difficult times. We can't wait to come back!

Its been a while since we've able to have a 'treat ' on the weekend with a meal out, so I was delighted to learn that Cakes and Ale were re-opening with a takeaway service . So this Saturday I ordered a couple of burgers with fries and arranged to have them delivered. Shortly after ordering online, I received a call from them just to firm up the order and to confirm the delivery time. . Pleased to say that they were delivered on time, perfectly presented and still piping hot.The food itself was plentiful,delicious and great value for money. Can't recommend it highly enough. Good work Laurence and his team

Great food and impressive delivery service - the restaurant called to confirm my time slot after I placed my order online, and called a second time to inform me of traffic near my home in the event of any lateness. In the end, the food arrived early and piping hot. Clearer menu would have been welcome as I wasn't aware the burgers came without fries. But strong overall and will definitely be booking again.
