Nice hotel near seaside. The room looked very good. Google shows that it is 4-star hotel, however, bathroom should be updated (does not remind me 4-star hotel). People there was extremely nice. Tried steak and was the best i ever had. Recommended.
I have a lot of love for the King’s Head, with its aspect facing a lovely church and well, its plentiful outdoor seating, and now a terrific roast. Only small gripes: a paucity of ales, with a Tomos Watkin the only offering, and the internet not really reaching our table for ordering. It’s bucolic and serene though. PS this was the hottest I have ever been eating a Sunday dinner, and I’m Aussie.
Food was good . Worth a visit . Bit pricey but with the loss of business for everyone people have to make a living. I would go again. Every effort made to keep you safe. Well done.
The accommodation was perfect and nicely set well behind the actual pub with nice flowers in the Inn's courtyard area. The pub food itself was impressive (for a pub!) and the staff was friendly and helpful. The Inn accommodation check-in process was contact-free (key in lock box) to comply with social distancing but the one thing I'd say is that the actual reception staff were a bit hard to get a hold of while we were there, however the pub staff helped out with questions in their absence.
Really nice pub with nice views of the village. We had burgers with Stilton and chilli and blueberry jam and they were delicious! The chips were proper chips too. Friendly staff who all fussed over our dog. A truly dog friendly pub! We ordered via the Kings Head app, which included a 'pooch' menu so we ordered him sausages which arrived cooled and in a box. Good Covid safety precautions in place. Really recommend this pub.
