Really impressed with our visit. Felt covid secure but also still had a comfortable and enjoyable meal. Food was fab, portions were a good and staff were friendly and attentive.

Don't hate the place but I wasn't treated very well when I asked for my food to be taken away as it was cold (I don't expect to pay nearly £25 for food to be cold and 3 items missing.). I was told to 'be kind' personally I don't think I was in the wrong. Another waitress came back with my refund and I was told don't speak to my staff like that againl. If you don't want complaints then train your staff better. I've worked in the catering industry 30 years and NEVER sent a cold plate of food out to anyone. That said we came on the Friday before and had and 5* meal. Off day maybe????

A lovely pub to stop at after a day at the beach. Food is delicious and social distancing is observed i even had a view of some horses.
