An absolute amazing site! Matt and the team are the most hospitable people I have come across in a very long time. The level of customer service is second to none. Puddledock woods is a fairly new site which has the most amazing future plans which we cannot wait experience.

Wild camping at it's finest. You pull up at the end of a little driveway to be greeted by friendly, helpful and considerate hosts. There's no parking next to your pitch so you are told where to park up and then your gear is loaded into the back of the owners 4x4 for transit while you enjoy a short walk to a clearing in a wood that is simply idyllic. There's are approximately 10 pitches all set well apart from each other nestled in between the trees, each with a flat area for your tent, a fire pit and a picnic bench. There is a composting toilet a minute or so walk away or a flushing toilet a few minutes away; other than that it is just you and nature. There are footpaths that run alongside the camping area that give ample opportunity for cycling or walking, and dogs are welcome so they can enjoy the walks with you. All in all this is a little gem of a campsite if you are looking for some wild camping in the middle of the woods and not on a manicured lawn with electric and I couldn't recommend it more.

Wonderfully peaceful place . Run by really nice people. Had a great four days just chilling out. Wild camping with extras.
