Room was adequate, but only just. Spa likewise. Although I understand they're investing in improvements.
The Sunday carvery is quite good, but check it's open, it often isn't. Evening entertainment is dreadful when I've been there, but I may have been unlucky.
Hopefully now it's under new ownership it will be back to the great place it once was.
I have never been here but we pass it most days, what you see is a very nice place it has a water feature outside and the grounds are kept very clean and tidy it looks very inviting. They have a peacock that sometimes walks around the garden, I would like to go and see the inside maybe soon.
Under new Ownership. Got to know the new owners and they are great. 40 of us stayed and they where helpful and enthusiastic. The site was beautiful the rooms where renovated large and modern. Pool was great for the kids. And the bar area had all been done up and was lovely. Lots to do great location. Well done to the new owners
The management & staff are very friendly & are very quick to help you with anything. It's fantastic to have the use of the facilities the gym & steam room was amazing to have there & then evening drinks to finish the day off. Will be coming back. Thank you very much.
