Very friendly and restful site. The facilities are brilliant but I didn't use them on this trip re Covid.
Amazing walks, runs or cycling straight from site.
I have visited here several times and never fails to impress me.
Fantastic site. Toilet blocks are immaculate. Staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful surrounding area, with plenty of wild life roaming free. Watch out for the pigs! 😆
We love this place & come every year in October. The new facilities are really good, always lovely hot water with good shower pressure. Kept very clean & good covid measures in place. The pitches are spacious & well maintained.
The setting can't be beaten with The New Forest just outside the gate. So much wildlife to see including the ponies, donkeys, cows & pigs all free roaming, not to mention the deer. Wonderful walks & cycle tracks, you can walk for miles. A lovely place for dog owners with a nice shallow river very close by for water loving dogs.
Take the time to travel further afield too, as there are many different areas of The Forest worth visiting.
Brockenhurst is just a short drive or walk away with a small Tesco, Co op, bakery & numerous lovely tearooms for that cooked breakfast, coffee & cake or cream tea.
A very typical Caravan and Motorhome Campsite. Facilities always excellent
Superb location for exploring New Forest and beautiful surrounding area.
Why not five stars? The welcome. Never as good as its rival.
Really Quiet and peaceful, get back to nature.
Although, I think that whilst there are reduced facilities, during the Plandemic the costs should be lowered.
