Nice site on the forest edge which is really easy to get into the forest right from the site.
Nice big field for camping and three sets of toilet blocks,two small ones one larger and newer with all the mood cons you need.
Approximately 15 hardstand pitches not the biggest but enough for what you need.
The field does get a bit soft after a lot of rain but drains well as do the hardstand pitches. This October was the worst ever for the weather so you can't blame the site for this for the water laying about on the ground. Good signage from the main road into the site and nice and easy to get into the local towns from here.
Really friendly, helpful staff, very peaceful site, ideal location. We love it here, you can walk or cycle from the campsite into Brockenhurst through the forest and see the ponies and deer. Spacious pitches on field. Toilets very clean. We never normally go back to same site but this is our second visit this year and will definitely come back.
Loved this campsite hope to go back in a few week. After running my leisure batter flat was kindly allow to plug van in and charge it.
Only thing that could make life a little easier would be some kind of charging points for phone as need them for health and urgent family contact reasons and unfortunately all electrical pitches were full. Mainly helpful friendly staf.
We had a very enjoyable stay at long meadow Friendly service from all there.Clean facilities with plenty of hot water for washing up. Lovely surroundings for walks. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a lovely 3 night stay, staff were welcoming and friendly. Showers and toilets were spotless. Lovely walks/cycle rides from the campsite. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Longmeadow 🙂
