My favourite campsite! Have missed visiting Holland's Wood this year so popped down today for a walk through the site and locally; was as beautiful as always and as well as the usual ponies and squirrels, we saw some pigs roaming around for the first time!

Loved this site very relaxing. Only things missing is a better on site shop. Not enough recycling bins. Great site tough. Lovely seeing all the horses. Great for walking the Dogs. No car needed. Lots of walks in the Forest.

Fun campsite. Very busy and noisy until passed midnight despite the request for noise courtesy by the management however its camping and everyone is enjoying themselves. The kids loved seeing the horses milling around. Being in the woods and under the stars at night was a joy and visiting the local villages really did feel like home from home.

Nice campsite: great location with paths through the forest coming right up to the campsite. I liked that the site was a bit more mixed than many: there weren’t as many children as many sites have. I hadn’t appreciated how massive the site was before booking.. not an issue especially (it was my fault for not checking) but felt that the lack of marked out pitches meant it was difficult to find a nice spot when arriving on a Friday evening.

It's a great campsite, good clean facilities. Nice pitches with a variety of open and tree covered pitches. Lovely and peaceful in the trees. Nice access to Brockenhurst and the forest tracks. Follow the rules on the horses and they will fine with you.
