Great place to park and go for an explore
Absolutely excellent area for walkers.
I use this place off season to walk the dog. It has a lot of dry tracks which is useful when wet. I have noticed in the last few days that the layby on the left,as you drive in, has been made inaccessible by a large ditch and further parking has been inhibited by posts put in the ground. Maybe there has been too much "wild camping" due to the lockdown. You can always park at Matley wood and walk the short distance through the car park.
Amazing campsite.
Have been going there for years and enjoyed every second of it.
Could do with a better phone connection though.
